2025 Alpine Cup Championship: Silent Ice Center, Dec 19 - Dec 21

The Female Super League is proud to host the inaugural Alpine Cup Championship this December at the Silent Ice Center.

The Alpine Cup name carries deep history  first awarded at the Banff Winter Carnival from 1917-1935, it was one of the earliest trophies in Canadian women’s hockey. Legendary teams like the Calgary Regents, Vancouver Amazons, Fernie S, and Red Deer Amazons all claimed the Cup, creating moments that helped pave the way for today’s female athletes.

This year’s event will feature six divisions and marks the first tournament ever staged by the FSL. By reviving the Alpine Cup name, the league connects modern players with the trailblazers who came before them while building a new annual championship tradition for the future of the game.
